Our collaboration with Reebok Classic is a research in mysticism of objects and rituals of high-tech era. For years, people believed in powers of special things, in their ability to bring luck, strength and victory to their owner. Today the meaning of cult objects has changed. Now we believe in science and technology but still have special objects and rituals, even if it sometimes sounds irrationally.
This inner belief in secret forces is our inspiration for the design, just as are connections between human and nature, present and past. Trainers have definitely become iconic, so we took the form of NPC II and filled it with new but old meaning. Materials and shapes are contemporary interpretation of stone, iron and bone. The model also has some inner elements visible only to an owner.
